JENPAUH 2018 Entrance Examination for BSc Nursing, BPT, BASLP & BMLT Admission

JENPAUH-2018 is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). On the basis of score in JENPAUH seats are offered in following Under Graduate (UG) courses in Colleges/ Institutes in the State of West Bengal.

a) Bachelor of Nursing (BSc Nursing)
b) Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
c) Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
d) Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technician (BMLT)

JENPAUH2018 Important Dates


  • Start of Online form fill – up: 27th February, 2018
  • Last date of online form fill-up and payment of fees: 23rd March, 2018
  • Last date of downloading confirmation page: 26th March, 2018
  • Publication of Downloadable Admit Card: 18th May, 2018
  • Dates of Examinations: 27th May, 2018
  • Publication of Results: 3rd week of June, 2018

JENPAUH2018 Eligibility Criteria


Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India
Age: The age of the candidate should atleast be 17 years as on 31st December 2018
  • Upper age limit for BSc Nursing and BPT courses: No upper age limit.
  • Upper age limit for BASLP course: Not more than 25 years as on 31December 2018
  • Upper age limit for BMLT course: Not more than 40 years as on 31December 2018
Educational Qualification for admission to various courses

i) BSc Nursing (only ‘female’ candidates are eligible): The candidates should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council securing a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A & B, PwD candidates) marks in aggregate.
The candidate must pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in each of the subjects.
The candidate has to be medically fit to undergo the course.
ii) BPT: The candidates should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council.
The candidate must pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in each of the subjects.
The candidate has to be medically fit to undergo the course.
iii) BASLP: The candidates should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council scoring a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC-A & B, PwD candidates) marks in aggregate.
The candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics/Computer science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in each of the subjects.
iv) BMLT: The candidates should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council securing a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A & B, PwD candidates) marks in aggregate.
The candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and vernacular or any other 5th subject with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

How to pay JENPAUH 2018 Fees


Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs. 500 plus the Bank’s Service Charges as applicable for appearing in the JENPAUH 2018.

The Examination Fees can be paid by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’. The fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

JENPAUH 2018 Admit Card


Candidates can generate their admit cards on the notified date from the official website and take a print. Candidate are required to carry a printed hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre. This is an important document and must be preserved till admission procedure through JENPAUH 2018 is over.

JENPAUH2018 Evaluation and declaration of result


a) Candidates will receive the final results published in the form of Rank Cards, which will contain all relevant ranks and total score. Rank cards will be available only from the portal www.result.shiksha
b) Candidates will be able to view and download their rank card by logging in with login id password.

JENPAUH 2018 Counselling / Seat Allotment and Admission


The responsibility of the WBJEEB is to only conduct the entrance examination and prepare the merit list.

JENPAUH 2018 Syllabus


The tests will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE)

JENPAUH2018 Exam Schedule


JENPAUH-2018 will be conducted on 27th May 2018 (Sunday). The timings for the entrance exam are-

Physics & Chemistry: 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
 Biological Sciences: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

JENPAUH 2018 Pattern of Question Papers


The test will consist of two papers namely
a) Physics & Chemistry (full marks 100) and b) Biological Sciences (full marks 100).
Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for each paper is 2 hours. The questions will be in both English and Bengali language.
