WBJEEB: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was established in 1962 by the Government of West Bengal, in exercise of the powers conferred under article 162 of the Constitution of India pursuant to No. 828-Edn(T), dated 02.03.1962.

The board is empowered to conduct common, combined, competitive, entrance examinations for admission in any Colleges and Universities in the State of West Bengal. The endeavours of WBJEEB has always been directed towards enhancement of transparency in conducting Common Entrance Exacting Common Entrance Examinations for various professional undergraduate and post graduate level courses through effective State-of-the-art-technology.

Online application process and admission of eligible candidates through e-Counselling is operational for the undergraduate level Medical and Engineering courses in West Bengal. The Board is entrusted to conduct the Common Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the State.

JENPAUH is conducted by WBJEEB for admission to Under Graduate (UG) courses in Colleges/ Institutes in the State of West Bengal for courses such as Bachelor of Nursing (BSc Nursing),Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), etc.
